DMOD, a provider of secure workflow and distribution solutions, announced today , a significant update to its media production software for Mac OS X. WorkSpace "streamlines the media production process and provides content owners and creators with tighter control over their digital assets." Version 2.5 offers enhanced media playback capabilities, support for QuickTime 6 (including MPEG-2 and MPEG-4), encrypted media bundle creation, and browser-based access. WorkSpace 2.5 client/server is priced starting at $17,500 per year for one server and five client seats. Maintenance and support are additional.
