Apple Australia Managing Director Ben Bowley at the end of March, according to The Sydney Morning Herald: "Mr Bowley's successor has yet to be selected. Both internal and external candidates are being considered although the strongest speculation is that an executive from Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California, may be sent to Sydney, if only for a two- or three-year assignment...Apple's Australian operation reports directly to the US rather than as previously to the Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore."
