IOXperts, has released version 1.0.6 of its $20 , which supports a wide array of low-cost cameras, including the ADS PYRO WebCam, Unibrain Fire-i, Orange Micro iBOT, iRez StealthFire, and others. This version offers full compatibility with QuickTime 6.0.2 and 6.1 and addresses a conflict with the Apple driver built into Mac OS X 10.2. The company soon expects to release an "industrial strength" Mac OS X camera driver that will support the advanced features of high-end digital cameras used in factories and research labs.
