Emagic today unveiled , a new version of its digital audio and MIDI production software. The update will be available in February for Mac OS 9/X, and will include "a new level of processor efficiency and extensive enhancements." New features include: CPU resource management, grouping of Mixer objects, DV movie playback via FireWire, a Setup Assistant, enhanced import/export functionality, and expanded control surface support.
