Adobe will discontinue its service effective February 28th, according to a notice issued by the company. Adobe has already discontinued new registrations for its online service, which allows users to create electronic portfolios to showcase multimedia work and also allows other to search for skilled workers talent by category, skill or location. Adobe says that adoption rate was slower than expected, and it has become impractical for the company to continue providing the service. ePortfolio users have been informed of the service's termination, and have been advised to recover any files from Adobe's systems by the 27th of February.
