Keyspan to introduce new USB device

At Macworld next week, Keyspan will introduce the USB 4-Port Serial Adapter, which allows four legacy serial devices to be connected to a single USB port with each port supporting data rates up to 960 Kbps. The $150 device will ship later this month. Keyspan will be exhibiting at booth #3535 in the North Hall.

    Many do

    I can think of four uses:

    Palm Cradle
    Serial Printer
    Lego Mindstorms Infrared Tower
    fax modem (some have separate fax and modem lines)

    Personally, I'd use the Palm and Lego devises with such an adapter.

    - cell phone interface
    - X10 controller

    This is for controlling a Lego robotics interface.

    With Lego you can nowbuild any peripheral you need ;-)

    Sorry for taking this off on a tangent. I would appreciate it if the person with the Lego Mindstorm kit could email me with information on you're using your software since on a Mac. I thought there wasn't a Mac version of the software, are you running it using VirtualPC?
