    Not ergonomically sound

Any workstation that does not allow the keyboard and mouse height to be lower than the workstation/monitor level, and preferably adjusted independently of the worksurface height, is not well designed. The photos on Bretford's site show an ergonomically very poor position - the monitor is _far_ too low. The Bretford tables would require either a separate keyboard tray or a monitor stand (preferably one which is height-adjustable) to get the components in the correct relative positions. Given the high price of these Bretford tables, that makes them a poor value.

    Split Level Design

I also asked the Bretford people about a split level worksurface that allows independent adjustment of the keyboard/mouse vs. the monitor. They are weeks away from integrating that solution into the product line.
I've been working at a Digital Hub desk for months now and I love it. The quality is awesome and it is obvious that Bretford actually manufactures the desk rather than import and source.
