Sassafras Software will begin to ship its , a software license management, auditing and usage reporting system for Mac OS 9 & X. The management console breaks management into four elements: computers, users, software, and licenses. Administration of each is supported by a set of features built within a cross-platform, drag-and-drop management console. Pricing ranges from $15 to $55 per desktop. A beta is due in the next few weeks, while the final release is expected early this year.
