OWC carrying Giga Design processor upgrades

OWC (Expo booth 2323) has begun carrying Giga Design's features an 800MHz G4 processor, 64KB of L1 cache and 256KB of L2 cache. Operating system requirements for G-celerator use is Mac OS 9.2.1, 9.2.2, or OS X.


G-celerator CPU upgrades are compatible with any Apple PowerMac G4 model with an AGP slot made prior to August 2002. This includes G4 AGP Graphics (Sawtooth), Server G4, G4 Gigabit Ethernet, G4 Digital Audio, G4 Quick Silver, and G4 Quick Silver 2002.

    what G4 processor?

    what G4 processor are they using in this? 7450, 7455?

    never heard of this company, are they somehow related to OWC?

    I spoke to one of their employees at their booth yesterday and the company is just 3 weeks old. I hope they stick around. The more competition the better.
