Blizzard on Restoration

Blizzard Entertainment has outlined the steps users should take for flagging their Diablo II character to be revived back to its December 19 state. In addition, the post answers some of the most frequently asked questions regarding the restoration.
The process of restoring Diablo 2 hardcore and standard characters will begin on Sunday January 7th, 6:00 P.M PST (GMT -8). This process requires that the realms be shut down for 24 hours, with the exception of the Asian Realm, which will take 30 hours due to the large number of characters on that realm. We expect that all realms will be running by Tuesday January 10th 12:00 A.M. PST (GMT -8).
