    Wow

This can only mean great things to come tomorrow. Anyone remember the flower-power/dalmation iMac introduction? This would have been keynote material without a doubt.
To throw this away at the last minute like this rather than adding scraps to the table for tomorrow's keynote...
    Hopes are high.

What makes you think it is not still keynote material? This does not mean anything regarding the keynote.

Well I wouldn't get too excited but if they were really desperate for things to talk about I suspect they would have announced this during the show. I think they like to have a number of suprises and if they're willing to drop a couple it means they must at least be confident that people will be 'wowed' by something at the show.

    It worked!

I was able to set the preferences in the online Address to Book to enable syncing. I launched iSync on my Mac and it uploaded all of my contacts!

However, when I edited a contact online, it would not sync back to the computer. Around 0250 PST, the Apple website said that email was down for routine maintenance...after that, the ability to enable syncing in the online Address book had disappeared.

At least I am "N-Sync"...did I just say that? Oh my God, it must be late!

    Yawn...

    Double yawn...

Contacts on the web? Hasn't Yahoo had this for years?

Do you really want to trust Apple with your contact info?

What if they suddenly increase the price of .Mac to $999/yr. & add a few more 'features'?

Did you ask your contacts if THEY mind?

I smell a fertile field for litigation...

Ironically timed with new MS .Net ads effectively promoting business 'spamming'...
