Charismac debuts FibreShare for OS X

Charismac Engineering has announced , its volume-level software-based shared storage solution that allows multiple users to share high-speed storage without having to access the drives through a traditional network interface. FibreShare supports both FireWire and fibre channel drive interfaces, allowing users to see storage as locally attached to their computers, while having the ability to share data at the volume level between anyone accessing the FibreShare network. It is expected to ship at the end of the month. (Pricing not yet finalized.)
