for Mac OS X Server 10.2 is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2003. The PowerEasy product "targets the needs of resource planning and e-commerce for small and medium-sized businesses, and will be built on Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) 12.5, and Apple's WebObjects 5.2 development environment. [It] will combine an easy-to-use enterprise resource planning application with the power of Sybase ASE 12.5, WebObjects, Mac OS X Server and Xserve. With pricing starting at $80,000 per machine, the solution will be 20 percent less than comparable solutions on Windows platforms."
