    Ok Ok...

    Yeah, you can track down the right cable, and download and configure the software, but not necessarily very easily. The advantage of packages like this, if they are done right, is everything you need is included in one box, the software has been made easier to use and configure, and they provide support to help you get it working if it doesn't work. Just wanted to make the points that the cheapest way is not always the best way, and that not every company is trying to make a buck by passing off something that you can get cheaper elsewhere without providing some "value-added" stuff.

    Now, if someone would just make this work for my Sidekick, I'd be very grateful...

    Hey,
    just wondering about this product.... If I use AOL and connect my cell phone via USB, Do I use my AOL account to dial out or am i using my cell phone's internet service... Also how fast is the connection??? 14K, 56k, etc???? Also I suppose that it uses my air time as well??????
