- Rage Software's WebDesign 1.9 is an update to its $30 web authoring package for the Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X that includes built in support for HTML 3.2, all versions of HTML 4, XHTML 1.0, PHP, Cascading Style Sheets, ASP and JavaScript. It adds improved web site management, an improved FTP browser tracks recently modified files, better Mac OS X support, and other enhancements. [2.4MB]
- The $65 oXygen XML Editor 1.2.4 adds support for document templates, auto-completion of closing tags, smart indenting, support for both tabs and spaces in formatting, new converter and language tool plugins, and other enhancements. - KuebSite 1.0 is a new $20 web development tool that can create web pages "without any knowledge of the HTML language, and without all the complexity of other applications. [It] is not as full featured as some other more profesional web page creation tools, but it is very easy to use." It runs on Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X and is available in English, Spanish, and French.
- Tex-Edit Plus 4.4 is a scriptable, styled text editor that fills the gap between Apple's bare-bones SimpleText and a full-featured word processor.
