- Everyday Software has released the final version of Bookit 3.0 ($12), a major update to its Mac OS X bookmark management application. Version 3.0 contains an array of new features, including: support for Chimera, support for Opera 6, a global system menu to access bookmarks and an improved interface. [Download - 538KB]
- PDF Enhancer 1.0 is the initial release of Apago and PDF Sages' $180 PDF repair and compression utility. It can correct any errors or damage in a document while reducing it in size by as much as 90 percent. - FWB has updated its SMART Toolkit ($35) to version 1.2. The update adds an option to send email messages in plain text, and new graphics to show drive status in the OS X Dock. It also address a registration problem that would display users as unregistered if a user name was not entered.
