Zapwerk to introduce Web-publishing tool

updated 04:55 pm EST, Tue January 2, 2001

zapwerk will introduce siteyard, a platform-independent Web publishing tool that is compatible with Mac OS X, at Macworld next week. It removes the Web master from the content chain, allowing multiple, authorized users to update Web content in minutes, from different locations, without HTML proficiency.

    Missed the point

    You jumped the gun skippy.

This would let people who *write* the content also post the content on a web site. Many times content is massaged by some "webmaster" who then puts what others have written onto any given site.

Usually this is because a site requires the content to be stored in a database (PHP/SQL) or specific formatting must be done to the raw content.
