Discovery Systems today released , a new authoring tool for creating multimedia and e-learning software: "[It] people to quickly create interactive applications for computer-based instruction, electronic books and reference manuals. In addition, people can develop their own interactive video, expert systems, product and services demos, advertising, presentations, simulations, kiosks, games, and any other media rich interactive content." Pricing is $600 (with a $125 discount for education customers). Upgrades from DSI's CourseBuilder product are $300 through the end of the month.
