Haven't tried it yet, but hopefully it has addressed/fixed the problem with the copy/paste functions and code view (or design view as well). Both the Mac version and Windows version have the same quirks.
But it wasn't quite painless. Make sure you read the release notes, however, because there may be an error if you have ever had a trial version installed.
I have yet to put DW through the paces, but the update at least went smoothly after I renamed the VSetupT file to VSetupT-Bak, as instructed in the release notes.
is dreamweaver to run faster. oh, and stop randomly shutting off my palettes. and, uh, stop randomly reassigning keystrokes (i thought i has lost my mins when it suddenly could recognize shift AND return simultaneously... not to worry, the functionality eventually returned for no discernable reason...)
i have been a dreamweaver hardcore user for several years, but this release has been odd, odd, odd. hopefully this update will fix some stuff.
now please update FREEHAND!

heaven knows that the software has to be optimized further, cuz apples computers sure aren't getting appreciably faster in a years time of waiting in comparison to other computer systems. The only way to make the computers work faster is optimizing every single thing that can be optimized....
after upgrading, dreamweaver mx crashes every time i need to download/upload large numbers of files.
Checkout the newsgroup macromedia.dreamweaver and you will find out about the issues with this update. I would highly recommend holding off on updating.
