    Well...

If you think that the ad campaign is "boring", how about coming up with a better one?
    Yeah, didn't think so...

Stop apologizing for Apple will you? Their Think different campaign as well as pre-Jobs commercials were far better then these goofy switch ads.

Furterhmore, why would you think Apple would take user submissions for ad campaigns anyway?

    Switch does work

The switch campaign got one of my relatives to buy a new iMac after Windows decided to foul up and wreck her laptop's hard drive partitions.

Not many people who read these comments have a right to complain about the campaign, either. Apple isn't targeting you. You're already committed to the platform and will probably buy Apple products regardless of Apple's ads.

The target of these ads are for people who have a Windows box but are not fully aware of what the Mac is capable of doing, not for Apple fans.

    Some are never happy

For years Mac users told Apple to stop preaching to the d converted in their ads. Now that they do exactly that, people are complaining that Apple isn't talking to them...

    switch from the switch?

"Their Think different campaign as well as pre-Jobs commercials were far better then these goofy switch ads."

Are you joking? The Think Different campaign, aside from sucking and dragging on far too long, did nothing to actually encourage people to switch over to the Mac OS. You think anyone except people who already use Macs cares about a big picture of Jim Henson or Satchmo with an Apple logo on top?

At least now we finally have some sort of acknowledgment that you can actually *use* one of Apple's computers to do things, rather than just sit there and look nice.

Aw, now you had to go and say that didn't you? Think different far from sucked. It got me interested in the Mac, and now I'll never buy another PC. I think *you* need to go and view that original Think different ad again and then come back here. Your plate of crow will be waiting.

These geeks all look like the people I would beat up in high school for the sport of it. Ah the memories it bring back.
