- MAKI Enterprise has released a new personal edition of its parental control program KidsServer Personal Edition (PE) for Mac OSX. It offers more than 10 different Internet browsing filters, filtered Web searches, restricted movie playing, controlled downloads, system log and user access logs, and an auto-updating database. It is $40 per year and works on a single computer. - Square Box today released CatDV Pro 3.0.2, a free update to its $275 video logging and media asset cataloging application featuring both bug fixes and improved integration with other applications via drag and drop. It is available for both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X. [1.2MB]
- Insider Software's FontAgent Pro 1.0.2 offers font management and repair functions for Mac OS X. The update automatically creates sets from added font folders, has a new uninstaller, and has other enhancements. Upgrades to the $100 application are $50 for registered FontAgent 8 customers.
