USB Instant DVD captures video to Mac

ADS is shipping its real-time DVD video capture device, , offering the ability to record home movies in full resolution DVD-quality video. The external USB 1.1 device enables users to transfer videos to their Mac from any analog or S-VHS source such as VHS tapes, camcorders, or DVD players. It utilizes hardware-based MPEG-2 compression for full 720 X 480 NTSC (720 X 576 PAL) resolution and stereo sound. The $400 device includes all necessary audio/video Cables, a 6-foot USB cable, power supply, and Pixela PixeDV Video Editing, CaptyDVD authoring software, and Button Builder software.
