    Cable

At $400, that's mighty kind of them to throw in a $2 cable.

    power through FW cable?

Is this drive too big to be powered through the FW cable?

    Will OSX recognize this?

If I install this drive on my DP 1.25 GHz, will I be able to use the full 200 GB or am I gonna be still limited by the 128 GB limit?

    Re: OS X

128 GB isn't an OS X thing, its a hardware thing (please ignore my stupidity on the terminology). I believe the ATA/66 connectors can't support past 128G. However, ATA/100 can. That's why large drives work on only the newer machines, because they're the first from Apple to include ATA-100. Firewire drives aren't true firewire drives, they're ATA drives hooked through an ATA-Firewire connection (like the Oxford 911 chipset). As long as this circuitry supports ATA-100, the drive should be read.

As such, I would assume it would work on any computer, since the computer sees it as a firewire device, not an ATA device.
