today added a new 52x CD-R drive to its 'Premier' product family, which features "BurnProof" buffer underrun protection, and 24x CD-RW burning. It ships with Toast Lite for Macintosh, and is available immediately for $190.

I myself have a Que 24x firewire CDRW drive. It may be cause I live in Boston with places like MicroCenter or the Apple Store around, but I seem to see 24x, 32x and I think I saw 40x or something in that range at the local staples and the other places I mentioned. Is fast media just easy to find in certain places or not. Anyways.... I would love to upgrade to that drive..... Burn a CD in 1 minute or so at that rate..... wow.
Too bad Napster is not around, but there is Limewire and Kazaa thru Virtual PC..... God do I love my Mac.
