The Beijing Macintosh User Group has documented the opening of Beijing's third AppleCentre at the Oriental Plaza in Beijing, China, and MacNN reader Tadd Torborg has posted photos and a video from the grand opening of the Apple Store Millenia in Orlando, FL. Both stores opened this past weekend. Apple has also posted a list of the ten other upcoming stores expected to open by Thanksgiving, as noted by MacNN in late September.

so i wonder if chinese officials are going to start rounding up diehard mac fans and accusing them of engaging in a cult activity with the purpose of undermining the well-being of chinese society... or not.

    Seattle?

Once again, Seattle is left out. We're STILL more than 800 miles from an Apple retail store. LAME!

    re: Seattle?

We do have "The Computer Store" to serve our Apple needs. They don't suck. Seattle's a really hard place to do business right now, especially for non MS users. I can't blame Apple. And the local economy here blows, not enough people are employed to be able to afford Apple gear.

    Center

They spelled it wrong. If you look at the signs on the store, they clearly say "Apple Center".
