Adaptec today announced its Adaptec XHub for Notebooks, a new 4-port hub for both USB 2.0/USB 1.1 peripherals that does not require an extra power supply for "most peripherals." It provides device indicator lights to identify peripherals currently in use. The $40 device comes with a one-year hardware warranty.
