HP has posted updated Deskjet 2.0e drivers for many of its USB inkjet printers (it also supports Ethernet AppleTalk network printing). Supported printers include the Deskjet 350, 640, 800-series with on-printer USB ports, 900-series, 1125c, 1220c-series, cp1160-series, cp1170 series, cp1700-series, 3320-series, 3420-series, 3820-series, 6120-series, and 5550-series. The release provides faster printing under Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar, more stable printer communication, the ability to save more than a single preset (under Jaguar), and both Digital Photography options and 2400x1200 and 4800x1200-enhanced printing for supported printers.

forgot that the forums strip out HTML code. Until the editors correct the bad URL you'll need to change '&' to just plain '&'.

Their scanners still do not work in OS X. When is HP going to release the drivers? They first promised the beginning of this year, and now it's October!!

    bad URL

argh. I mean... remove the amp; that is trailing the & within the URL so that the URL will actually work. Sorry about the repeated posts. Is there not a way to edit/delete your own posts?

    Try again, HP.

After installing the driver, Print Center quits when you try to add the printer.

Oh and as you can see above I posted the URL simple remove http://

Also I wish the forum would list new post on top and not first post... This stops the windows people and mad people from getting seen first.

    HP doesn't want OS X

HP makes a lot of money on selling PC hardware, and by selling more PC the better off they are, thus the less they support Mac the better of are the PC sell... F*&k up way of think but that HP CEO for you.

    Still didn't print local

with these drivers on OSX Server 10.2.1

    However, if you go to h t t p : / / 127.0.0.1:631

you can go through the modify printer and select your printer type and it should work then. For some reason, it is trying to print to IPP instead of USB by default.
