El Gato has updated its EyeTV 1.03 software for its $200 EyeTV digital video recorder device, which allows users to watch TV shows, pause live television, skip commercials, and archive programming to disk and/or external media. It adds new features such as repeating schedules, a new slider control to adjust the recording duration, higher quality VideoCDs (with Roxio Toast), an option to keep the entirelive TV buffer in RAM, new sound preferences, and other enhancements.
