MacHack announces keynote speaker

MacHack today announced its keynote speaker for its 18th annual developer conference, which takes place June 19-21, 2003. Ken Arnold, Chief Architect of EventMonitor, Inc., will kick off the 72-hour marathon conference at 12:01 am: "As one of the original architects of the Jini platform, an open-software architecture that enables developers to create network-centric services that are highly adaptive to change, Arnold spearheaded Sun Microsystems' community source effort. He was also the lead engineer on Sun's JavaSpaces product." Conference registration costs $450 ($100 off until 2/28/03) and includes access to all conference events, three meals and the conference banquet.
