PCV asks users for application suggestions

PCV, a Macintosh development company, is looking for Windows products that people would like to see ported to the Macintosh platform.: "We are asking the help of interested Macintosh users to identify such products by sending us an email with the name of the product and contact information, if any. We would also like to hear about any Macintosh products which are no longer supported, that have not been updated for while, or are not available for OS X, which you would like to see available."

    Game editors

I'd request game editors--like for UT 2003. It's a shame to have to pay extra when PC users have downloadable free editors... but not as much of a shame as not having editing at all!

I think enough people would buy a quality editor for a popular, long-lived game that it would be well worth developing.

Westlake should think about this too!

I can think of many games

However, I would need some time to look over and find quality PC Software that I would like to see on the mac. How about WordPerfect :). Used to use it all the time. Was super fast, but that just might be because it wasn't upgraded as was word (Bloatware o'rama).

Software packages needed to run some hardware (We seem to be alright in the mid range hardware but lowend and upper seems a little sparse).

I'll need to think on this one.

    Re:Fruityloops

I second that! Basically, I would love to see any audio software that we don't already have come to the mac (although lots of the good stuff is here already, especially with Traktor for X coming out soon (hopefully!)). I am all in favor of more audio software especially live DJ software!
