USB-XFormer 2.0 is a USB 2.0-based Ultra SCSI controller that sports the "fastest" USB to SCSI adapter on the market. XFormer, short for transformer, sells at a suggested retail price of about $130. It fully utilizes the 480Mb/s bandwidth of USB 2.0, providing a 20MB/s Ultra SCSI transfer rate for high-performance hard drives and Iomega Jaz devices. "Out of the box" Mac OS X support is included; a DB25 adapter is also included for Iomega Zip drive support.
