Afternoon tech news: Tests have shown a flaw in the support chips for the Intel Pentium 4 that impacts system performance when passing large amounts of data over the PCI bus; Network Associates has announced that it expects to lose up to $140 million this quarter and that its CEO, president and chief financial officer are all leaving the company; and the outlook for the semiconductor industry will not greatly improve during the first quarter of 2001, due to slow holiday sales, too much inventory and a slowing global economy.
