Olympus intros 10x zoom, 3.2MP digital camera

Olympus today introduced its CAMEDIA C-730 Ultra Zoom digital camera, which features 3.2 megapixel resolution as well as 10X optical ultra-zoom lens (and 3X digital zoom) in a compact and stylish body weighing only 11.1 ounces and measuring a mere 4.2" wide x 3.0" high. The $600 (street price) camera includes advanced settings include controls for aperture priority, shutter priority, and full manual operation as well as Digital ESP multi-pattern and spot metering; adjustable white balance; multiple flash settings including slow sync flash; and auto bracketing and exposure compensation. It is expected to ship in October with an Auto-Connect USB cable, Audio/Video Out cable, carrying strap, lens cap with retainer cord, 2 LB-01 (CR-3V) Lithium batteries, a 16MB xD-Picture Card, and Olympus CAMEDIA Master Software 4.0.
