AudioX 2.0 is a simple sound recording utility for Mac OS X that can capture audio from various input sources, such as the built-in microphone, a USB microphone or a FireWire video camera. Potential uses for the $15 shareware app include: converting vinyl records and cassette tapes, taping interviews, and recording radio shows. In addition to the bevy of available input sources, AudioX allows users to export sound files with many compression settings, adjust gain and manage or add notes to files.
