Core Mac OS X Programming class offered

The Big Nerd Ranch has announced a new programming class called Core Mac OS X Programming, which "will allow programmers to harness the power of Mac OS X's Unix foundation. For the week of November 11-15, 2002, Aaron Hillegass, Cocoa instructor and author of 'Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X,' is teaming up with Mark Dalrymple to teach the new class. Topics will include multi-threading, daemons, distributed objects, network programming, Rendezvous, performance tuning, advanced debugging, security frameworks, and exception handling. The five-day class complete with a a student guide, a luxury room (with 3 meals a day), a T-shirt, and transportation to- and from- the airport is $3500.
