Apple's Security Update 2002-08-20 includes updated OpenSSL and other Security components which provide "increased security to prevent unauthorized access to applications, servers, and the operating system." The update is not available under Mac OS X v10.2, but is available for Mac OS X 10.1.5. (We noted its release yesterday afternoon via the Software Update Control Panel.)
