Planar Systems has introduced two new 19- and 20.1-inch flat-panel displays, offering ultra-thin bezels, analog and digital inputs, and an optional Video-EX accessory for additional TV tuner and s-video inputs. Planar's $950 ultra-slim, SXGA 19-inch LCD sports a USB hub, a 500:1 contrast ratio and 160 degree viewing angles (horizontal and vertical). The company's new 20.1-inch flat-panel monitor ($1,500) features UXGA (1600x1200) resolution and extra-wide 170 degree viewing angles (horizontal and vertical). The ew models are available in white or black and feature integrated speakers for multimedia applications.
