MacHTTP 2.5: open-source HTTP server
updated 09:00 am EDT, Wed August 21, 2002
MacHTTP 2.5 is the latest version of the original HTTP server for PPC and 68k Classic Macs. The project is now a community-supported open-source project that is freely available for non-commercial use. Version 2.5 includes user-defined actions, support for folder aliases, thread manager support, performance tuning options, multiple domain support, protection from false virus requests, byte range serving (for page-based PDF requests and resumable downloads), and other features.

Not Good Enough?
The official site of MacHTTP -- www.macHTTP.org -- does not itself run using macHTTP software (see http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/graph?mode_u=off&mode_w=on&site=www.machttp.org for proof)...
Which leads me to ponder: why would i use it, if they won't even use it themselves?
hmmmmm.......
