Witango 5.0 RAD tool, App server for OS X

With Enterprise has released a public beta of Witango 5.0, its Development Studio and Application Server for Mac OS X and Windows. The RAD (Rapid Application Development) tool outputs XML and uses a visual approach to separate presentation logic, business logic and database logic, while the Application Server provides an XML execution engine for deployment of the application files. Formerly Tango 2000 from Pervasive, the company says that Witango "has been almost completely rewritten to take advantage of the Unix core of Mac OS X."
