Apple has launched a new monitor promotion today, $200 off for the 17” Studio or the 22” Cinema or $500 off the 23” Cinema HD when you buy a Power Mac, Power Mac Server, or Xserve.

From the offer's fine print ...
"Customers are eligible to receive a rebate for each Apple display purchased with a qualifying computer. Example: Buy one (1) Power Mac and five (5) 17-inch Apple Studio Displays and receive a $1000 mail-in rebate."
That's "cavalry". :)
Actually, this rebate brings the price of Apple monitors to a realistic street price (OK they are still priced a little high). It's a shame that you have buy a way overpriced PowerMac to get the rebate,
Yes, I do know that Apple Monitors are the best but still cost to much (LCD prices are dropping)
