updated 08:45 am EDT, Tue August 13, 2002
Trolltech is offering a preview of Qt 3.1 at LinuxWorld, its standard C++ application framework for multiplatform development, which allows developers to write a single source-tree that will run natively on Windows, Linux/Unix, Mac OS X, and embedded Linux. The Mac OS X version of Qt 3.1 introduces integration with the Mac Appearance Manager, anti-aliased text drawing, and user settings as well as "greatly" improved OpenGL support. The first beta is due in the next few weeks and will be free to open-source developers.
