August Software announced price reductions by more than 50 percent on its Enterprise and Workgroup class ODBC Router. An unlimited-user database router is now $1000 (previously $2320), while pricing for a ten-user database router is now $500 (previously $1000). ODBC Router enables applications and web servers such as FileMakerPro and Apache on Mac OS X, Classic Mac OS, Windows, Darwin and Linux to utilize virtually any SQL data source by way of standard Windows ODBC drivers running on an NT/2K server. Pricing starts at $100 with "substantial" discounts for public education and health services.
