The PARC Forum, located in Palo Alto, CA, will be hosting a discussion with Ernest Prabhakar, who is responsible for Open Source, Java and XML technologies at Apple. The topic will be the Open Source BSD underpinnings of Mac OS X, and the abilities of it to run Java and UNIX tools and utilities side-by-side with productivity software (Microsoft Office and Apple's iApps).
