NewTek debuts free LightWave 7.5 3D trial

NewTek has released its free LightWave 7.5 3D Discovery Edition CD, a fully-functional trial of the 3D-animation and video product, which ships with five interactive Flash tutorials, PDF-based documentation, and "all the models, images, textures and scenes from the retail version of the product. The product lets animators save their creations with up to 400 animation points, and "subtly" watermarks the renders," according to Macworld UK.

    It needed to be done..hopefully the watermark is more subtle than Maya's..that sucker is distracting as sh*t.
