Azalea has announced UPCTools 5, an update to its bar code font library that creates UPC, EAN, JAN, Bookland, and ISSN bar code symbols. The $200 application includes C39Tools (Code 39), C128Tools (Code 128), UPCTools (UPC, EAN, Bookland, and ISSN), I2of5Tools (Interleaved 2 of 5), and other 1D symbologies. In addition, Azalea offers 2D bar code products like Azalea PDF417 (PDF 417), DataMatrix, and Maxicode. Developers can bundle Azalea's fonts with their applications for $600. UPCTools 5 is available for Classic and OS X.
