Apple has posted a final version of QuickTime Broadcaster 1.0, its live encoding software that can produce and deliver professional-quality live events over the Internet. Along with QuickTime Streaming Server 4 and QuickTime 6, Apple's end-to-end MPEG-4-based Internet broadcasting system can reach any ISO-compliant MPEG-4 player. It is a free download.
