Take-Two Interactive Software has acquired Gathering of Developers, a publisher of numerous games including the Mac version of Railroad Tycoon 2 and the highly-anticipated Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K.2, which will ship next month. Long time partners, Gathering of Developers will now act autonomously as a wholly owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive. The merger will not affect any game publishing timelines.
