Panic intros new doodle drawing app

updated 10:50 pm EDT, Wed July 3, 2002

Panic has announced Desktastic, an entertaining application that allows users to draw directly on their desktop with Mac OS X. Notes, diagrams, phone numbers and to do lists -- as well as doodles -- are among the suggested uses for the app. Desktastic ($9) creates an invisible "white board" layer above the icons and desktop picture, but beneath application windows, to provide a tidy method for containing sketches.
