Canopus today unveiled the ADVC-1394, an OHCI analog and DV capture solution for the Macintosh. The $250 device provides "unparalleled" picture quality from video imported from a DV camcorder. Compatible with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and iMovie, the ADVC-1394 includes support for Canopus' DV codec technology and compatibility with most FireWire cameras.
