    October?

Does this mean we won't get Jaguar until October? That is sad. :-(

No, it means they aren't selling many machines.

    yeah... No

sorry but 1.5 ghz is out of the question. Apple cant have too big of a gap between the bottom end and the top. and the bottom end cant be faster than the top of now (never has been) it will most likely go 1.0, 1.2, dual 1.2 or something like that. at the most i see 1.33. But with the ddr comming out it will be a nice speed bump. I have a dual 1ghz and I know im going to upgrade. It costs $800 every 6 months so i save $150 every month for my Mac addiction.

    On the subject

My Mac is due for an update now. I have been saving now for a Dual 1GHz machine, but I think that faster machines will be announced over the Summer. If Steve doesn't announce any new PowerMac's at the coming Macworld, should I wait until the September AppleExpo (which I will be attending) in hope of faster machines.

When I brought my original B&W G3 in 1999, I got it a month before Apple announced the first G4 machines... I was stunned. Since then I have been ultra careful about when I buy, however I really need a new machine as my current Dual 500MHz G4 is struggling now with FCP and Maya.
